Anna Silk
Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. Her most popular role is Bo, from Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay is the producer and director of the drama in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories are of attending the play school as well as watching her mother do the work. Silk was featured in many commercials when she was an infant. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. They got engaged in 2009, and then married in the civil ceremony on took place in December. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows in an Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk is known for her tv role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was nominated by the Gemini Awards. She landed a principal role as Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen in Lost Girl. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the season's third finale episode. The news was announced to viewers of the show in a Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. On June 20, 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was ready to the set of the show. Silk's portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers on Lost Girl was named one of the all-time Top Television Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top TV Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to an enormous online following on social media.
